Merry Christmas
As we all recline in our chairs after stuffing ourselves with Christmas lunch, followed by desert & then as many chocolates etc we can prize from the paws of the children of the household. We must remember that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all men, looking after thay neighbour & sharing our good fourtune amonst those less fortunatant. With a slow but persistant lulabye being wispered in our ears by the over indulgence of food & drink consummed in the spirit of Christmas . . . Merry Christmas to one & all! wishing you all festive cheer & a prosporous new year, here's too 2011!

X Factor Charity Song
This year's X Factory Finalists have released "Heroes" as they're charity single for Help The Hero's.
I'm a firm supporter of Help The Hero's & all the work they do for the service men & women, serving overseas for each & everyone of us. Without these people who knows what the world would be like now?!
Even if your not the biggest fan of the song it self, buy it for a family member or friend as a stocking filler this Christmas, giving back hope & happiness to those who have given so much to us!

Yeo Valley Advert
Finally, that song in the yogurt advert that's being played during X Factor, that you've been tapping you foot along too . . . they've released the latest Yeo Valley Advert as a song.
Who ever came up with the idea for this country rap needs a pat on the back. It's captivating & entertaining, while still conveying the companies message.
It is such a catchy song, with a video featuring the Yeo Valley, in Somerset, bring the real world in. The Yeo Valley has always held a strong name within the local communities around Somerset & now it's appeal is spreading.
Keep up the good work . . .
(If you too are hooked on the rap from the advert, you too can now own it via Amazon, following the link below)

Fond Childhood Memories
As I was stood on the platform at the train station this morning, shielding myself from the bitterly cold wind & driving snow.
I suddenly remember a line from one of my beloved childhood Christmas stories by Dylan Thomas, A Child's Christmas in Wales. The snippet that rekindled the memory was at the beginning, when the lead character references it "snowed for 6 days & 7 nights, or 7 nights & 6 days".
As Christmas stories go, this is a archetypal traditional Childhood story of little town life in mid 20th century Britain, or Wales for that matter.
A heartwarming tale of times gone by that will be loved by adults & children alike, especially the audio version - with a gentle comforting tones. Ideal as a present this Christmas!
